Coastal Research Unit (CRU) is a research unit under the leadership of Professor Dr. M. Shahidul Islam of the Department of Geography and Environment, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh
The aim of this unit is to conduct research on various coast issues and nearshore environment, arrange meeting, organize seminar, publish newsletter and disseminate knowledge on coastal issues.
